MINUTES OF NY CHAPTER 29
August 8, 2010
The meeting was called to order by President Paul Pratt at 11:06 am with 12 members present.
There were no guests present.
The minutes of the last meeting was read and accepted with no corrections.
Correspondence – Paul read a letter about by-law changes that pertain to electronic voting for the chapters in the Red Knights. With this method of voting, it would be possible for all chapters to vote; whereas now, only a hand full of chapters actually attends the convention and votes. Each chapter has to nominate a candidate for a position and then actually vote. There will be more information about this in the future.
The vice president read the treasurers report, which Karen had it broken down as too the monies spend and received. It was voted on and accepted by the membership.
It was also voted on to pay Jo, thirty dollars for the blanket which was made for Americade.
Jo presented a bill for $964.00 for shirts from Lisa. We now have an inventory of various shirts.
Joe also stated that there was no interest in purchasing white shirts for formal occasions, so that idea was dropped.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS – NONE
NEW BUSINESS – The September meeting will be held at the Niverville station one on September 12th, which is the same day as Greggs Run. We thought we would have a short meeting and then do the run.
GOOD FOR THE CHAPTER - Jo brought up that she had a cabin in Greene County that maybe next year we could all go there for a day or overnight trip. There is plenty of room for camping, either trailer or tent, plus the cabin. This is something to think about for next year.
